Transferring Your Software Locked Product To Another Computer

Why Transfer Your License?

Your license is keyed to your particular computer. This means that you cannot use your software on another machine without transferring the license. Your software product's License Transfer function allows you move the license between machines.

Note: If you reformat your hard drive, you will lose your product license. To avoid this, you can temporarily transfer your product license to another machine until the original system is ready.
These instructions only apply to products using software locking mechanism. Products using the Aladdin HASP hardware lock, including GTXRaster CAD and GTXImage CAD Series, use an entirely different locking method.
