Diagnose GTXRaster CAD Using AutoCAD Commands
| Case 1: |
Determine whether the GTX application has been started in the current AutoCAD session.
Use the (arx) command to list various applications. Look for "acismui.arx" and "gtxrx60.arx"
(GTXRaster CAD V6.0), or "gtxrx.arx" and "ism.arx" (GTXRaster CAD V5.0). |
|
Command: (arx)
("acadapp.arx" "acdim.arx" "aceplotx.arx" "achapi15.dbx" "achlnkui.arx" "acismobj15.dbx" "acismui.arx" "gtxrx60.arx" "oleaprot.arx" "vl.arx")
|
| Note: |
The ISM (Imaging Support Module) is an .arx file which must be loaded ahead of the GTX .arx application.
This function is initially accomplished by the ACAD.RX file found in the GTXRAster CAD file folder. Viewing
the acad.rx file in a text viewer reveals: |
|
ism.arx
gtxrx.arx
or
acISMui.arx
gtxrx60.arx
|
| Case 2: |
Load the GTX application manually if it did not load automatically. Examine the
AutoCAD configuration. If necessary, add the GTX program paths
to the Support File Search Path. Use the arx command to initiate the Load option. Load the ism
application followed by a load of the GTX application.
|
|
Command: arx
Enter an option [?/Load/Unload/Commands/Options]: load
Enter ARX/DBX file name to load: e:\acad2000\acismui.arx
Command: arx
Enter ARX/DBX file name to load: e:\gtx\raster cad plus v6.0\gtxrx60.arx
GtxRX Loaded - MDE aware.
|
| Case 3: |
In AutoCAD R13 or R14, the insert command may be used to gather information on the "current directory" and
AutoCAD support paths as determined by AutoCAD's configuration. In AutoCAD 2000, substitute the -insert command.
Respond to the Block name query with a non existent name like abcd, as in the example. |
|
Command: insert
Block name (or ?) abcd
"abcd.dwg": Can't find file in search path:
E:\GTX\Raster CAD Plus v5.0\ (current directory)
E:\gtx\raster cad plus v5.0\ (current directory)
E:\GTX\Raster CAD Plus v5.0\BMPS\
E:\AUTOCAD R14\support\
E:\AUTOCAD R14\fonts\
E:\AUTOCAD R14\help\
E:\AUTOCAD R14\drv\
