GTXimage CAD Series 8.0 is typically installed to a user's PC. Once installed, the GTX icon will run GTXImageCAD.
A purchased GTXimage CAD Series 8.0 program, installed as a Licensed version
will search for a license when the GTX program is started.
A HASP hardware key (a device connected to a local machine's parallel or USB port) provides the license to the GTX program.
Alternately, a floating license, multiuser, HASP hardware key may be connected to a port on some PC within a local or wide area network which is accessible to the GTX program user.
When starting GTXimage CAD Series 8.0 program, the floating license will be applied without requiring any user intervention.
A HASP hardware lock needs to be installed using a separate installation sequence than the GTX installation program. The multi-user version depends upon a license manager program, installed on the PC which is connected to the hardware lock. The single user version requires the local installation of a
Windows device driver which allows the single user HASP lock to act as a Windows device.
