HASPCheck Diagnostics
A HASPCHECK.EXE program is provided by the software installation.
HASPCHECK may be used to display the GTX license status for red colored
Net HASP and white colored Memo HASP hardware locks, which GTX provides
with all versions of licensed GTXRaster CAD and GTXImage CAD Series
products. This program will reveal the following details about your
hardware lock:
-
Which program license, or licenses, the lock is programmed for
(one HASP key may hold multiple licenses).
-
Whether the programmed license is permanently authorized or set to expire after a limited
number of program accesses.
-
The unique HASP identification number of the lock, which is
information GTX must have to provide
RUS update codes for license
authorization or upgrade.
-
The status of a HASP Device driver on the local computer.
-
In the case of a Net HASP lock, the number of licenses assigned
to a particular GTX program version.
To run the program, the HASPCHECK.EXE executable and supporting
haspvb32.dll file may be copied from the GTX installation CD's HASP
folder to a writeable hard drive location or it may be run from the
installed program's License sub-folder. A run of the program will
result in the creation of an NHCHK.TXT file, in the path of the
HASPCHECK executable. The NHCHK.TXT is a text catalogue of the GTX
program licenses discovered in the HASP key.
You may review the following image descriptions or run the HASPCHECK
program now.
Figure #1 - The HASP Checker Console will be the first screen
displayed by execution of the program. From the HASP Check menu select
Memo HASP to test a white colored HASP key, or Net HASP to test a red
colored HASP key.

Figure #2 - A Memo HASP Program Checker after the Check button has
been activated. The resulting display indicates which GTX program
licenses the tested key will support. White backgrounds in the check
boxes indicate 'permanent' authorization.

Figure #3 - A Net HASP Program Checker after the Check button has
been activated. The resulting display indicates which GTX program
licenses and what number of users, per program version, the
tested key will support.

Figure #4 - A Memo HASP Program Checker after the Check button has
been activated. The resulting display indicates which GTX program
licenses the tested key will support. Gray backgrounds in the check
boxes indicate 'limited use' authorization.

Figure #5 - The HASP Not Found message at the bottom of this display
indicates one of two possibilities. Either the HASP key is not
installed on the local computer, or the HASP device driver has not been
installed.
