Removal and Repair:
GTXRaster CAD Series 6.0 for AutoCAD 2000
Program Removal
To uninstall GTXRaster CAD Series 6.0,
use Microsoft Windows Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs
on the local machine.
Installation Repair
The GTXRaster CAD Series 2000 program, once installed on a local
machine, will present a GTX desktop icon and a GTX Program Group which
is named for the program level chosen during the installation process.
These will appear similar to the following:
 
These visible links to the program's starting icon and other
optional programs will only appear on the desktop of the user who was
logged in to the local machine during the original GTX installation.
Other users on the local machine must perform the Registry Update step.
Typically, a System Administrator installs the GTX program and the
GTX elements appear on the Administrator's desktop. The GTX icon and
Program Group are not present in a non-administrative users desktop.
The non-administrative user must run the [GTX CD]:\RCAD60\RegistryUpdate\Setup.exe to
initiate the Registry Update
function. The Registry Update process appears like a full installation
of the GTX program, but does not affect previously installed program
files. When completed by the logged in user, the Registry Update
provides the Windows desktop elements for
GTX, and the required Windows registration of the GTXRaster CAD Series
6.0 profile for AutoCAD 2000.
If a local machine user's GTXRaster CAD Series 6.0 profile ever
becomes corrupted, the Registry Update process may be repeated to
quickly repair the corruption.
