Register A Single User Software License
For an installation of GTXRaster CAD 2010 Series, performed as a
software licensed version, the license must be initiated by the person who
installed the program. GTX provides a single user software license in the form
of a file named GTX.LIC, which must reside in the main Raster CAD Series
program folder. GTX will create the GTX.LIC file from information provided by
the person who installs the GTX program.
Note: For complete information about the GTX.LIC file, read the
topic
The GTX Single User License File.
- START the GTXRaster CAD 2010 Series program
Upon the first start of a newly installed, unlicensed, GTXRaster CAD 2010
Series, the GTX application will recognize that the software licensing
installation choice was made during installation. The application will also
identify the program's unlicensed state, resulting in the following message.
Note the suggestion to run the gLicense command.

Because the application is unlicensed, the following message
should be expected.

Initiation of an active, authorized, software license begins with
GTXRaster CAD's gLicense command, which is entered on the
AutoCAD command line. The gLicense command will result in a
display similar to the following.
Command: glicense

product level. To authorize the product you will be prompted for your contact

As instructed by the last line of the gLicense command, pressing
the
RETURN key will open the GTX Registration Dialog window.

For this step to succeed, all fields of the GTX Registration
Dialog must
be completed. If a product serial number has not yet been provided
by GTX, the serial number field may contain entries of "0" or "NONE",
as instructed on the last line of the Registration window.
Success in this entry of information will result in the following instructive
message. This message displays the name of the GTXREGISTRATIONINFO.TXT file,
which should be emailed to activate@gtx.com. Note: The GTXREGISTRATIONINFO.TXT
is created and stored in the GTXRaster CAD 2010 Series program folder.

If all is well with this transaction, GTX will return, to the
email sender, an active, authorized, GTX.LIC file. Placement of the GTX.LIC
file in the Raster CAD 2010 Series file folder is the final step in single user
software license activation.
