This unique, cost-effective solution brings legacy paper drawings into CAD-EDM-GIS environments. The GTXImage CAD^TM Series, Version 8.8 product line now allows for reduction and separation of scanned color/grayscale drawings, maps, and other color digital images. GTX continues as the leader in providing Intelligent Paper to CAD Solutions^® in raster editing and conversion software for the Technical Imaging market.

Based on the AutoCAD OEM engine and the strength of GTX engineering and development, the newest GTXImage CAD^™, Version 8.8 standalone software includes performance improvements and full compatibility with the AutoCAD 2004/2005 DWG environment. The Version 8.8 Series consists of the following products: GTXImage^™ CAD V8.8 and GTXImage CAD^™ Plus V8.8. Using the GTXImage CAD^™ Series, Version 8.8 makes it possible to reduce color or grayscale files from a range up to 16 million colors down to a range between 256 and 4 colors, or even bitonal (black and white) images.
