GTX Corporation Announces Andrew M. Ling as New President & CEO
Scottsdale, Arizona – January 1, 2008 GTX®
Corporation announced today that Andrew M. Ling, currently the
Senior Vice President & General Counsel, has been named the organization’s new President & CEO. Mr. Ling
succeeds his father, Dr. Marvin T. Ling, who founded the company in 1984 and served as President & CEO since
its inception. Dr. Ling stated that he would step down and retire from GTX and added, “I am very pleased that
Andrew will be taking over the operations of the company as the new President & CEO. With more than 17 and a
half years of service at GTX, Andrew has continually demonstrated his leadership skills and managed the company
through exciting and challenging times. He is very well prepared and well equipped to be the leader that GTX
needs now and for the years ahead.”
During his tenure as Senior Vice President & General Counsel, Mr. Ling has had overall responsibility for
sales, marketing, product development, operations, and managing the company’s legal matters. In addition, Mr.
Ling has been instrumental in expanding the company’s worldwide distribution channel, restructuring operations in
the U.S. and at GTX-Europe, negotiating significant OEM licensing agreements and managing the intellectual
property portfolio for its software programs.
