Project Manager/Developer
|

GTX is currently seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, experienced and self-motivated Project Manager/Developer. Position is for the GTX Corporation office in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States of America.
| Responsibilities: |
| |
Lead development activities for GTX CAD and imaging products, as well as the e-commerce solutions of our affiliated company, PayByClick.
Lead documentation of functional and technical specifications
Develop test scripts, testing schedule and participate in the software testing process
Participate in load/stress testing of applications
Correspond with team members in the United States, Europe and Japan
User interface design for both web and Windows applications
Lead integration and new application deployment
Maintain or port legacy applications and develop new applications based on requirements and specs
Collaborate with Marketing to analyze and document functional and technical requirements
Demonstrate products and technology to customers, dealers and partners
Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to an international network of partners
Advise executive management of product development status, development schedules, estimate development costs, present via Gantt chart scope of work and schedule and participate in other business issues associated with product development, marketing and launch
Work with Senior Vice President & General Counsel on technology issues associated with licensing contracts
Assist Technical Support in troubleshooting and issue resolution for reseller channel and end users.

| Required Qualifications: |

| |
Project Management on projects involving over 3 people
Use of MS Visio, Project, Excel and PowerPoint
Expert in developing n-tier solutions
Expert in Object-Oriented methodology, design and implementation
Expert in .NET framework 1.0 and/or 1.1
5+ years experience in software development.
5+ years experience database design, MS SQL 2000, 2003
5+ years experience with Windows NT/2000/2003

| Experience developing applications using VB6, C# | |
| |
Experience implementing a variety of projects, including web services, applications, DLLs, static libraries
Experience working with web services, XML and SOAP
3+ years system/network administration experience
3+ years web site design and development using HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP and ASPX (ASP .NET)
5+ years implementing e-commerce solutions, including integration of credit card processing (e.g., Verisign PayFlowPro)
Working knowledge of the development lifecycle and QA principles
Working knowledge using MS Visual SourceSafe or other version control software

Intimate knowledge of MSVC++ 7.X, working knowledge of MSVC++ 6.0
Experience using memory management techniques with C++ (e.g., allocating and freeing memory pools)
Experience using MFC
Experience developing or using imaging software
Experience developing software for digital content (e.g., music, video)
Experience using, configuring or developing on AutoCAD
Experience using bug tracking software
DOS Batch scripting
Compile with both IDE and makefiles
Some experience with Solaris and AIX

| |
Experience using InstallShield Developer 8+ IDE
Basic Windows system administration
Window's Registry knowledge
Microsoft Installer (MSI)
InstallShield Install scripts

| Software Testing/QA |
| |
Understanding of software testing methodologies
Experience developing and using test scripts
Experience performing stress/load testing, use of Load Runner or similar applications

| Communication and Interpersonal Skills |
| |
Team player with excellent organization, communication, writing, analytical and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with initiative and creativity to problem-solving
Strong work ethic and sufficiently organized to handle multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
3+ years experience gathering and documenting software functional requirements and specifications
3+ years experience producing written documentation
Speak, read and/or write Japanese a plus
Must be willing to work during non-business hours to accommodate overseas schedules, including evenings and weekends, from time to time.
